An experiential kiosk for Moodie, a F&B and retail brand: exploring how design, technology, and interaction can come together in a compact physical space.
Moodie is a F&B concept exploring how design, technology, and interaction can come together in a compact physical space.
The Moodie Kiosk was conceived as an experiential retail unit that goes beyond selling a product: it creates a moment, a mood, and a memorable interaction. Every surface, every detail, every touchpoint was designed to trigger an emotional response.
We approached the brief as a spatial branding challenge: how do you compress a full brand world into a 12-square-metre footprint and still make it feel expansive? The answer was in the system, a generative dot language that lives across signage, packaging, digital screens and the kiosk structure itself.
ILLUSORR led across consultancy, identity, spatial design and digital, building the algorithmic design system that powers Moodie's visual language and ensures every element adapts while staying unmistakably on-brand.
The result is a kiosk that feels alive: colour fields shift, patterns breathe, and the brand identity scales from a cup sleeve to a full-bleed wall without losing coherence or energy.
The kiosk exterior carries the full Moodie brand language: the generative dot field, the mint palette, and the round-form signage system that makes the structure instantly recognisable from any angle.
The same language travels off the kiosk: boxes, cups and lids share the mint-and-magenta split and the eyes mark, so a Moodie order still reads as Moodie once it leaves the counter.
Each capability ILLUSORR brought to Moodie was designed to make the kiosk feel like a complete world, compressed into a single footprint.
Brand strategy and concept development, defining the Moodie world before a single surface was designed. Purpose, positioning, and the emotional promise of the kiosk.
A mark that works at every scale, from a cup sleeve to a full-height kiosk fascia. Rounded, playful, unmistakable. Built to live alongside the generative dot system.
A generative dot field system that produces infinite on-brand pattern variations, consistent in character, always unique in output. Powers all surfaces across the kiosk.
A digital presence that extends the kiosk world online: same visual language, same emotional tone, built for screens from mobile to large-format display.
A full brand system spanning spatial, print and digital: palette, typography, pattern language and application rules that keep Moodie coherent across every touchpoint.
Brand voice, copy and AI-assisted content production, giving Moodie a distinct narrative personality that shows up on menus, screens, packaging and social.
From brand positioning to a built kiosk: a full-stack creative pipeline where every design decision was also a spatial and sensory decision.
We established Moodie's positioning in the F&B space, identifying the emotional territory the brand could own, and setting the tone for every decision that followed: joyful, unexpected, intensely tactile.
Logo, palette, and the algorithmic dot language: a generative visual system that scales from sticker to structure, producing infinite on-brand variations without losing coherence or character.
Kiosk spatial design, elevation drawings, digital screen content and web presence: every surface an extension of the same system, every touchpoint part of the same mood.
" The best retail experiences don't sell products. They sell the feeling of having been somewhere. Moodie is that somewhere.ILLUSORR · Moodie Kiosk
